A few words about our crew.
While working on a superyacht sounds glamorous, it can be anything but.
Our crew members wake up before dawn to start their day, which typically involves a lot of cleaning and catering to the requests of owners and guests.
M/Y FOR EVER crew members must meet high expectations.
Working on M/Y FOR EVER yacht involves very, very long days with little rest and expectations to perform at the highest levels of service while not losing their cool under pressure.
By the time they start at the top of the boat and move around drying the boat, washing windows, and prepping water toys, depending on where the guests are.
Always they are thinking of ways to make the day special and ‘perfect’ as much as possible.
Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and lots of smiling. Behind the scenes, a lot of running around and working at high speed, throwing stuff into drawers and sorting it out later when they have time, laughing, and keeping spirits high.
Work is easy and consists of general maintenance and keeping the boat in perfect/ready state for when the owner or the guests does show up.
Our crew on M/Y FOR EVER can be very enjoyable.
A typical day involves turning beds for guests and crew.
Food and beverage service three times a day.
A lot of plans and schedules change on the fly depending on the owners and guests and their wants and whims.
Yachting is an eye opening, ultimately fun industry that demands hard work, perfection and attention to detail. The yacht crew every day has a deep insight into what should do to make the most of their work.
On our Yacht FOR EVER Teamwork is about having a shared goal, a shared purpose.
So, all the crew together as a group, define the objectives and goals.
Captain suggests, whether it is getting bigger tips, learning new skills, or just having fun.
All the crew from the beginning try to find a way to create a vision that supports everybody’s individual desires, as well as delivering an exceptional experience for guests.
